MHO Team:
A Comcast Cable Site Construction Coordinator visited the observatory on Thursday, October 2, 2003 to determine high-speed cable installation procedures. This project is being led by Ed Hendry with assistance by Ken Grundberg and Tom Hagen. The project will bring high-speed (4 MBPS) internet connectivity to the observatory and the various "server developments" undertaken by Ken Grundberg on behalf of the developing K-12 educational outreach programs at the facility.
Stay tuned! This project promises to bring another dynamic to the current observatory offerings and the various "learning communities" it supports.
Best,
Jim

Thanks to Bill Blevins & Dan Pesserl for the development efforts. Perhaps we all should visit the site and determine what additions and/or changes should be made. We could meet on a Sunday and discuss the possibilities.
Best,
Jim
