MHO Team
The observatory was visited by the Camp Fire Girls and Boys Club (20) on Sunday, March 9, 2003. They had a great time touring the facility. Several young people in the group were very interested in science and found the observatory to be a fascinating experience. They liked the "hands-on" opportunities it provided. Besides the "real-time" exposure of the day they also built a "web-log" (blog) so that they could stay in touch and possibly develop future opportunities to visit. They also were very excited about our "Summer Camp" possibilities and some of them will probably sign-up. It would be our hope that they continue to stay connected.
They also donated $75.00 to the observatory for their visit.
